November 10th is a date that should probably be written on every calendar in the United States and celebrated by every American. What makes November 10th special? November 10th is special because on that date in 1775 the Continental Congress commissioned Samuel Nicholas to raise two battalions of Marines…yes, November 10th is the birthday of the U.S. Marine Corps!

Since that founding day in 1775 at Tun Tavern in Philadelphia the U.S. Marines have been the “first to fight” in defense of this wonderful and exceptional country of ours. The Marine Corps has fought our nations wars from the “halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli” and every place else around the world that they’ve been sent. The Marines defended our country during its infancy and today the Marines are defending liberty all over the world. In addition to fighting the War on Terror in Iraq and Afghanistan, Marines are deployed in hot spots around the world and also provide needed security at U.S. Embassies. Wherever they’ve gone the Marines have been rightly regarded as first among the most professional, revered, and feared military organizations in the world.

Happy Birthday U.S. Marine Corps!!! To all active duty, retired, and veteran Marines…Thank you!

Al Gore and the various frauds claiming Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) is destroying the world are certainly guilty of a variety of crimes against the people of the world. Now, the AGW hucksters should be listed as accessories to a murder, an attempted murder, and two suicides.

Francisco Lotero, 56, and Miriam Coletti, 23, of Goya, Argentina shot their seven-month-old daughter in the chest leaving her for dead. They also shot their two-year-old son in the back (killing him) before killing themselves. Why? According to a suicide note left by the Argentinian cowards it was because of their fear of the effects of Global Warming. That’s right, fear of Global Warming led them to kill one of their young children and attempt to kill the other child before taking their own worthless lives. And, it’s all due to the hoax perpetrated by Al Gore and a bunch of “scientists” out to make money off of the fear of others.

Ahem! Listen up all of you who are spineless and politically correct enough to say “Happy Holidays” instead of “Merry Christmas”…You’re a waste of skin and you should stop wasting air by talking. Also, all of you who are such non-Christian, atheist, agnostic, don’t-have-a-clue wussies that you’re offended by hearing “Merry Christmas”….TOO DAMNED BAD! You need to have Santa Clause bring you thicker skin for CHRISTMAS. It is the CHRISTMAS Season and I’m going to say Merry Christmas to everyone I meet and thereby let them know that I’m celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.

However, as Jesus Christ would not want me to intentionally offend you (poor excuse for human that you are), I have a solution. Later today I will be buying a large quantity of earplugs from a local sporting goods store…good ones that are used to block noise from gun shots….and I will carry them with me at all times. Thereafter, any of you spineless miserable excuses for human beings who are offended by me saying “MERRY CHRISTMAS” will, upon request, receive a free set of earplugs so as to prevent further offense. I think it’s the Christian thing to do. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

PS. If you are the owner of a business and want me to shop there you will immediately stop with the “Happy Holidays” crap.

Today in San Antonio, Texas a criminal decided to end his life by robbing someone. Maybe he should have read my Public Service Message To Criminals and saved his own life. Oh well, if he was that smart he might have had a real job…maybe even an honest career…I hear the President needs people and he’s not all that picky.

Anyway, this criminal mastermind shows up on the northside of San Antonio and walks around the parking lot of a strip mall with a bandana around his face, a cap on his head, and wearing gloves. A worker from one of the stores goes out and tells braniac to leave but he doesn’t. Instead, he decides he needs some oxycontin and cash from the pharmacy. He goes in and hands a note to the pharmacist demanding the drugs and cash.

Now, instead of giving the cash and drugs to the moron in front of him the pharmacist who also owns the pharmacy points his own gun at the wanna-be Dillinger. You know what the criminal did then? He says to the pharmacist “let’s get it on”.

Police found him dead in the pharmacy with a cocked revolver. No charges are likely to be pressed against the pharmacist. In the words of Police Chief Bill McManus, “He has a right by state law to use deadly force in a situation like this.“

In an online article CNNmoney.com staff writer Catherine Clifford broke down a RealtyTrac report regarding home foreclosures. The last paragraph said, “The national report also found that the worst of the foreclosures were centralized in a handful of worst-hit states. California, Florida, Arizona, Nevada and Illinois accounted for nearly 60% of the total foreclosure activity in the first quarter, with 479,516 properties received foreclosure filings in those states.”

Hmm, all of those states, excluding Arizona, were “Blue States” in the last Presidential Election. Also interesting is that the “National Leadership” is from three of those states. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is from California, Senate leader Harry Reid is from Nevada, and President Obama is from Illinois. Sure, John McCain is from Arizona but he might as well be a Democrat. I’m not saying it’s because of Democrat leadership but it’s interesting that the people saying they have the answers are from the areas hardest hit. They didn’t do much for their home states did they?

If you’ve ever read a lot of comic books like I have, you’re probably aware of a supposedly fictional planet called Bizarro World. I say supposedly because the way things are going here in the U.S. I’m wondering if we haven’t all been transported to Bizarro World where things are pretty much opposite the way they are on Earth.

The latest evidence of our collective move to Bizarro World is a letter sent to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder on March 17th by 65 Congressional Democrats against reinstating the assault weapons ban! Yeah, I said Democrats sent the letter. In the letter the 65 Donkey Party Members of Congress opposed the assault weapons ban by stating, “We believe that this ban was ineffective during the 10 years it was law, and would oppose its reenactment.”

In an astonishing break from their anti-gun supporters they also said, “The gun control community has intentionally misled many Americans into believing that these weapons are fully automatic machine guns. They are not. These firearms fire one shot for every trigger pull. Some of the guns that would be banned under proposed bills have been around for more than 70 years, and are often passed down from generation to generation.” Wow, isn’t Bizarro World strange?

Of course it’s more likely that the career polititians who signed the letter are just engaging in some CYA maneuvers. We’ll probably never know.

In case you’re wondering if your Congressman signed, here are the names (only 2 from CA):

1. Mike Ross (D-AR) 2. Tim Holden (D-PA) 3. Jerry Costello (D-IL) 4. Jim Matheson (D-UT) 5. Sanford Bishop (D-GA) 6. John Dingell (D-MI) 7. Marion Berry (D-AR) 8.

If you’ve read the United States Constitution you know that in order for anyone to become the President of the United States there are a couple of things you have to be:

1. You must be 35 years old.
2. You must be a natural born citizen of the United States.
3. Be a resident of the United States for 14 years.

It turns out that Senator Barack Obama might not be a natural born citizen of the United States. At least that’s what a lawyer named Philip J. Berg, a lifelong Democrat and supporter of Hillary Clinton, has said in a lawsuit filed in federal court. Haven’t heard of this? Haven’t heard about the lawsuit filed against Barack Hussein Obama and the Democratic National Committee? That’s kinda interesting since the federal judge has said that Mr. Berg does have standing to file the lawsuit and that it’s not frivolous. So why isn’t this on every television and in every newspaper?

Yes, I still feel a little dirty about it. I’ve showered, bathed, and been tempted to scrub with bleach to feel clean again but it’ll probably be November before all is well. Why? Yes, last Tuesday I voted in the Texas primary for Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Believe me I know the impact of what I’ve done, but I had to do my best to make sure that Shrillary stayed in the race against Barack Hussein Obama. The reason is simple…someone on the Democrat side needs to point out Obama’s shortcomings since it appears that John McCain is going to be a weenie and treat him with velvet gloves. Don’t misunderstand me on this. I’m not saying anyone should say anything about any candidate that is untrue. What I am saying is that the truth about Obama needs to be put out there by someone that the liberal left will listen to. Obama is getting a pass by the national media just because he’s charismatic. At least I guess it’s his charisma because surely nobody would overlook faults and shortcomings because he’s bi-racial. Would they?

It’s a big topic this election season – Universal Health Care. Well, it’s big on the Democratic agenda and I’m guessing it’s because the Dems are betting most voters are stupid. They might be right. Lots of people are getting behind Clinton and Obama because of the promise (made by polititians remember) that they will provide health care to everyone. Wow.

Of course both of these political creatures gloss over the important issue of how it will be funded though Shrillary has hinted that participation would be mandatory. However, the nut and bolts of Universal Health Care are not what I want to write about at this time. Rather, I want to share an observation somewhat related to Universal Health Care.

Have you noticed that people living in countries that have Universal Health Care keep coming here to the United States of America where we don’t have Universal Health Care? I’ve noticed…and I’ve made the observation that it happens with incredible frequency.

According to pseudo-documentarian Michael Moore, Cuba has some of the best health care in the world and it’s available to every Cuban – it’s Univeral Health Care. So, if Cuba has such wonderful health care that’s free to every citizen…wait for it…wait…WHY THE HELL DO THEY RISK THEIR LIVES COMING HERE? Cubans literally risk their lives in makeshift boats and horrible rafts trying to get away from the free health care paradise they live in to come to the good ol’ US of A where they would have to pay for it. Of course they realize all to well that they DO PAY FOR IT in Fidel’s Cuba in ways Americans have a hard time understanding.

Canada, another Michael Moore favorite, has Universal Health Care yet Canadians come across the border with alarming frequency to PAY for health care. Why? Well, the why is simple…they get better health care here and they get it when they want it. Again, Americans have a hard time understanding this because we don’t generally have to wait, but in the Great White North waiting months for a hip replacement or even a coronary bypass operation isn’t unusual at all. How about something as simple as having a baby? No, Canadians don’t reproduce through cloning that’s just a terrible rumor. But, a couple of months ago there were several news stories about Canadian women being flown to American hospitals by the Canadian Government to have their babies because the Canadian Univeral Health Care system’s maternity wards were overloaded. Hmm, what else….oh yeah, how about Canadians moving to the United States? Why on earth would they leave a country with free health care to come here? I can guess.

Strangely, people from all sorts of places that have free Universal Health Care from England to Panama keep showing up here in the United States. They all know we don’t have Universal Health Care but they leave their home countries to come here. Sometimes they just come for the best health care in the world, and sometimes they move here to improve their lives in general but they do keep coming despite what we don’t have. Don’t you find that at least a little interesting?
