Top 12 Reasons People Vote Democrat

1. I voted Democrat because I believe oil companies’ profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene, but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn’t.

2. I voted Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

3. I voted Democrat because Freedom of Speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

4. I voted Democrat because I’m way too irresponsible to own a gun,and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers, thieves and radical Muslims.

5. I voted Democrat because I believe that people who can’t tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don’t start driving a Prius. (OMG … THAT IS PRICELESS!!!)

6. I voted Democrat because I’m not concerned about millions of babies being aborted so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

7. I voted Democrat because I think illegal aliens have a right to free health care, education and Social Security benefits.

8. I voted Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as the Democrats see fit.

9. I voted Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters.

10. I voted Democrat because I think that it’s better to pay billions to people who hate us for their oil, but not drill our own because it might upset some endangered beetle or gopher.

11. I voted Democrat because while we live in the greatest, most wonderful country in the world, I was promised “HOPE AND CHANGE”.

12. I voted Democrat because I believe our borders should be open, particularly to Mexico. So that the illegals and drugs can get into our country with no hassle.

AR-15 Pistol

AR-15 Pistol

Let’s say you’re at home some evening just dozing off when you hear two scumbag criminals trying to get into your home.  Then let’s say that after breaking in your back door those same scumbags are coming down the hall toward your child’s room.  Got it?  Really? Two scumbag criminals have, in the space of a few seconds, broken into your home and are closing in on your kid.  What would you do?  Would you do what anti-gun zealots recommend and call 9-1-1 while barricading yourself into a closet and hoping your young child remembers to do the same?  Are you going to wait the minutes needed for a police response while your child is in danger?  Are you going to confront the two hardened criminals with the lamp from your nightstand?  Sure.  Find out what some law abiding citizens did to protect themselves in the stories below.

Two female joggers were enjoying a morning run when three dogs viciously attacked them. Blood-curdling screams rang out. Onlookers dialed 9-1-1, but Gary Paque knew there was no time. He grabbed his 9 mm handgun and ran to the scene. “[One of the women] was on the ground and there were three dogs trying to pull her apart,” he said. “I shot the one dog, and he just dropped….The other dogs stopped, then continued to attack her.” Paque’s gun malfunctioned, but neighbor John Bettencourt arrived with a .45-cal. pistol and shot the two remaining dogs. The most badly injured jogger was taken to the hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries. “[The armed citizens] probably saved her life,” said Police Officer Joseph Holecek. (Daily Republic, Fairfield, Calif., 09/11/10)

His delivery completed, a pizza driver began to drive away when a masked man accosted him with a shotgun and announced a robbery.  The driver drew a handgun that he was licensed to carry and shot the suspect.  After asking a passerby to call 9-1-1, the compassionate driver reassured the wounded suspect that help was on the way.  “He kept saying, ‘They’re coming!’ like he was encouraging him to be okay,” said witness Dana Trader.  The suspect will be arrested after his release from the hospital.  (WTVR-TV, Richmond, Va., 09/20/10)

Retired schoolteacher Larry Goldstein was awakened by a loud noise and quickly obtained his .38-cal. Smith & Wesson revolver.  As he reached the first floor of his Brooklyn, N.Y., home, two men confronted him carrying what appeared to be a pistol and an M-16 rifle.  Fearing for his life, Goldstein shot one of the intruders three times.  The wounded intruder was arrested.  His accomplice fled the scene.  Both guns carried by the men proved to be toys, but according to a police spokesman, they “were very realistic looking.  If someone pointed them at you, you would light them up too,” he said.  (The Wall Street Journal, New York, N.Y., 09/16/10)

A woman was tending a convenience store register when a convicted felon burst through the door and put a gun in her face.  The woman’s husband, who’d been sitting on a  stool at the end of the counter, drew his handgun and shot the suspect three times.  The suspect will be arrested upon his release from the hospital.  “I hope that it sends a really strong message to anyone that’s thinking about going out and doing something stupid that there are people out there who are legally carrying firearms and that they have the right to protect themselves or another person,” said Surry County Sheriff Graham Atkinson.  (The Mount Airy News, Mount Airy, N.C., 09/23/10)

Ethel Jones, a 69-year-old grandmother, heard a ruckus at her front door one evening while she was home alone.  “He started shaking [the door],” she recalled, “and I said to myself, ‘Someone is fixin’ to break in!”  The burglar removed an air conditioner from a window and crawled inside.  Jones quickly obtained her revolver, walked out of her bedroom and came face-to-face with the intruder.  “I shot three times,” she explained, “and he ran away hollering.”  The wounded suspect was arrested at the hospital.  “I hope this will make people have second thoughts before they break into a home in our neighborhood and stop some of the crime we’ve had around here,” Jones said.  (The Decatur Daily, Decatur, Ala., 08/31/10)

Casey Bartram returned home with his girlfriend and 2-year-old son after an evening of bowling, but grew suspicious when he noticed the house was darker than normal and the door wasn’t locked properly.  Unbeknownst to Bartram, two intruders wearing ski masks lurked inside.  One of them, who had a gun, sprang upon Bartram who also had a gun (carried legally).  In the ensuing struggle, Bartram fired a shot, killing the assailant.  The second suspect fled and was arrested.  “It’s a good Second Amendment case,” said Wayne County Sheriff Greg Farley.  “A man was able to defend his girlfriend, child and home.”  (The Herald-Dispatch, Huntington, W.Va., 09/21/10)

When an unexpected knock at the door roused a homeowner from bed, he holstered his handgun.  Two men at the door told the homeowner they had caught someone tampering with his vehicle.  After a brief chat he began to close the door, but the men quickly asked for the homeowner’s help jumpstarting their vehicle.  He said he could not help.  Then the men asked for a drink of water and the homeowner grew very suspicious.  He tried to close the door, but before he could do so, one of the men stuck his arm through the door and fired a gun.  The homeowner shot one of the suspects, who was arrested when police arrived.  The suspect’s accomplice was still being sought.  (KMOV-TV, St. Louis, Mo., 09/23/10)

The stories above are representative of those that happen in nearly every city in the United States but you almost never see them lead the news. Why don’t news organizations show real life examples of people defending themselves against criminals with their guns? Is it because they would rather you didn’t have the right to own a gun and don’t want to “glorify” gun ownership? Maybe. Stand up and assert your right to keep and bear arms or it may be lost. Help protect your rights by joining the NRA. The NRA fights to keep your right to keep and bear arms intact.

Obama Plans To Be In Office 8-10 Years?

Is President Obama planning to suspend the 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution or is he just less intelligent that the liberal media would have us believe? I’m not sure how he would accomplish the suspension of the 22nd Amendment but he hasn’t really been paying much attention to the Constitution.  As for his intelligence…he doesn’t seem any smarter than Jimmy Carter.  You decide after you watch the video below:

Chicago Politicians Ration Constitutional Right

Supreme Court of the United States

Supreme Court of the United States

Before the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) ruled to strike down Chicago’s 28-year-old handgun ban in McDonald v. Chicago, the Mayor and Aldermen of Chicago were just un-American hypocrites guilty of denying United States citizens their 2nd Amendment rights.  After the SCOTUS handed down their 5-4 decision on Chicago’s brainless handgun ban, the Second City politicians are doing something almost as bad.

On Friday, right before the nation celebrated Independence Day, Chicago’s Aldermen struck a blow against freedom loving Americans who just want to defend themselves and secure the blessings of liberty.  In the wake of the SCOTUS decision the Mayor of Chicago and all 45 Aldermen of Chicago have decided that since they can no longer just deny people their rights, they’ll ration them.  Yes dear reader, Chicago is rationing rights.

Chicago’s “Responsible Gun Ownership Ordinance” is really full of problems for liberty loving Americans but the provision that requires rationing of a Constitutional Right is pretty disturbing.  The ordinance restricts Chicago residents to purchasing only one handgun per month.  Where is that in the Second Amendment?  Did I miss it somewhere?  Does the Second Amendment end with “shall not be infringed but can be rationed at will”?  No.

Why anyone would want to buy more than one handgun in a month is completely irrelevant.  What is relevant is that Chicago’s elected officials who all swore an oath to defend the U.S. Constitution are all too willing to violate that oath.  This time Chicago’s “leaders” are limiting gun purchases but where will that lead?  What will they ration next, Free Speech?  It could be titled the “Responsible Bloggers Ordinance” and would limit you to one entry of 200 words per month.  How about a “Responsible Worshipper Ordinance” that would limit you to one religious service per month?  After all, too much worship might be detrimental to the jobs of politicians.

If you’re thinking that rationing of speech and religion can’t happen you’re wrong.  Fifty years ago rationing of gun rights would have been unthinkable, now you don’t hear much about it in the media and few seem outraged.  Fight for your rights or you will lose them…Chicago is just the beginning.

Hey Gun Banners! Do You Believe In Police Protection?

It’s pretty predictable that at some point when the Obama administration really kicks their anti-Constitutional Rights gun banning program into gear that we’ll all be told a number of things. The one I’m waiting to hear, because it always gets trotted out, is that individuals have no need to have guns since the Police will protect us. Oh really?

I know a lot of Police Officers and I do believe they do their best to protect our lives and property, but all of them will admit it’s just not possible for them to be everywhere and protect everyone. However, let’s set that aside for the moment and ask a different question. Do the Police even have an obligation to protect the individual? Seems like a no brainer since the anti-rights gun banners assure us that’s what the Police are for….they’re wrong….AGAIN. It turns out that “Police are under no legal obligation to provide protection for any individual.” Courts have ruled the police have an obligation only to society as a whole. (Warren v. District of Columbia, 444 A.2d 1, 1981 ). Surprised?

Self Defense is your birthright and unless you’re the world’s foremost Kung-Fu Master who is capable of beating a criminal gang single-handedly while dodging bullets and swords, a gun is still your best bet. Furthermore, if Police are under no legal obligation to protect you then whose obligation is it? That’s right, it’s yours.

Obama and Biden Are Enemies Of The Second Amendment

They’re not yet President and Vice President of the United States but Barack Hussein Obama and Joe Biden are already preparing their assault on your right to keep and bear arms. On the official Obama transition website is his anti-gun agenda:

“Address Gun Violence in Cities: As president, Barack Obama would repeal the Tiahrt Amendment, which restricts the ability of local law enforcement to access important gun trace information, and give police officers across the nation the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade. Obama and Biden also favor commonsense measures that respect the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, while keeping guns away from children and from criminals who shouldn’t have them. They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent, as such weapons belong on foreign battlefields and not on our streets.

I have a few problems with what they are saying because what they say generally goes unchallenged in the pro-Obama media. Consider these 5 points:

1. Obama and Biden want to “Address Gun Violence”. Personally I’ve never seen a gun get violent. That’s because it’s an inanimate object is incapable of being violent. The term “Gun Violence” is just an effort to remove the responsibility for criminal acts from the criminal and place the responsibility on an object in an effort to destroy that object. It might be a cliche but I’m going to say it again, guns don’t kill people – people kill people. We can add to that by saying, guns aren’t violent – people are violent.

2. Repealing the Tiahrt Amendment doesn’t give police officers a tool to fight crime because they already have the ability to access gun trace information when they are performing a valid investigation. Repealing the Tiahrt Amendment would allow private anti-gun organizations access to private gun ownership information for the purpose of bringing harassment lawsuits against gun manufacturers and even law abiding private citizens. Lawsuits? Yes, the anti-gun lobby want to be able to bring lawsuits against gun manufacturers for “wrongful death” as though the gun manufacturer pulled the trigger. They refuse to go after criminals and instead go after lawful businesses in order to achieve their warped ideals and enrich themselves.

3. Gun Show Loophole? There is no loophole. All firearms dealers are required to perform background checks on persons purchasing guns whether they are at their gun store or a gun show…the standard is the same. Still, anti-gun activists claim that many criminals obtain guns from gun shows, though the most recent federal survey of convicted felons put the figure at only 0.7 percent. I’ll say it again, there is no loophole. So it seems that Obama, Biden and others want to shut down gun shows altogether, limiting access to guns by law abiding citizens desiring to protect themselves, their families and their property.

4. Making Guns Childproof? Nobody wants children to get hurt but there’s no such thing as childproof pill bottles much less child proof guns. It’s a ploy to place an impossible and unrealistic burden on gun manufacturers. Better to enforce current laws requiring parents to keep the guns out of the hands of their children. Also, how about parents taking some responsibility and teaching their children what they should do when they encounter a gun?

5. Assault Weapons Ban…it’s ridiculous. They say it’s about banning “military style” weapons that “belong on foreign battlefields and not on our streets.” Of course the weapons banned are not military weapons at all and never have been. Further, the banned weapons are not used in crimes any more than any other type of firearm. Actually, about 35 times more people are murdered without any sort of firearm (knife, bare hands, etc.) as with all so called “assault weapons” combined.

These anti-gun measures will not make anyone other than criminals safer. They are meant to deprive you of your rights and ability to defend yourself so they have more power over you. Tyrants prefer unarmed subjects, it’s really that simple.

Is Barack Hussein Obama Eligible To Be President According To The U.S. Constitution?

If you’ve read the United States Constitution you know that in order for anyone to become the President of the United States there are a couple of things you have to be:

1. You must be 35 years old.
2. You must be a natural born citizen of the United States.
3. Be a resident of the United States for 14 years.

It turns out that Senator Barack Obama might not be a natural born citizen of the United States. At least that’s what a lawyer named Philip J. Berg, a lifelong Democrat and supporter of Hillary Clinton, has said in a lawsuit filed in federal court. Haven’t heard of this? Haven’t heard about the lawsuit filed against Barack Hussein Obama and the Democratic National Committee? That’s kinda interesting since the federal judge has said that Mr. Berg does have standing to file the lawsuit and that it’s not frivolous. So why isn’t this on every television and in every newspaper?

For more about the issue of Barack Hussein Obama’s citizenship please see Obama Crimes.
